I was a team sport athlete as a kid but was always intrigued by watching the Hawaii Ironman triathlon on wide world of sports. In 1994 I was a Junior in college and saw an article in the school newspaper about a school sponsored sprint tri. They published the training plan in the school paper every week. I followed the plan, lost weight, got back in shape, put slick tires on my mountain bike and did it. I've been addicted ever since. I've used many different training plans over the years and even hired a coach. I worked my way up to completing Ironman Lake Placid but found myself over trained, exhausted, and fighting injury. I almost gave up on the sport all together until I saw information about TriDot. I really felt I wanted to continue racing and thought maybe this is could work for me. Since training with Tridot I have had enormous success, multiple PRs, and age group and overall podium finishes. All without injury and feeling exhausted. I have a great balance with work as an orthopedic PA, my family and training. I'm looking forward to another successful TriDot season in 2019 and helping my fellow triathletes meet their goals.
