Dr. B.J. Leeper

Dr. B.J. Leeper graduated from The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2005 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and a USA Triathlon Coach. B.J. specializes in comprehensive functional movement testing and injury prevention among athletes and has worked with numerous major league baseball players, professional football players, professional triathletes, olympic track and field athletes, marathoners, ultrarunners, and golf professionals.

B.J. competed as a multi-sport athlete at NCAA Division III Simpson College (Indianola, IA) from 1997-2001, setting an outdoor school record in the High Jump while also competing for the Simpson Storm basketball team. Since 2007, B.J. has immersed himself in the sport of triathlon, logging over 50 races with multiple age group and overall podium finishes. He has also competed in the ESCAPE from Alcatraz Triathlon, ITU World Triathlon Chicago, US 5i50 Championships, and Age Group Nationals.

As an endurance coach and strength and conditioning specialist, B.J. takes pride and has a passion in leading endurance athletes to optimal performance through the use of science and real life training applications that balance life, work, and family. He currently resides in Northwest Montana and loves spending time outdoors with his wife and 4 children, camping, hiking, biking, and skiing.
