About Me
Gregg has been involved in triathlon for over 2 decades; and over the years finished 5x Ironman and multiple 70.3/middle distance races. As well as completing multi-day cycling adventures including LEJOG and NC500.
Most recently he has switched his focus to ultra running - completing 50km to 100mi races as well as a 2-day stage race.
Gregg first started coaching when he was 16 getting his British Triathlon L1 to be able to assist at his local triathlon club. He is now a TrainingPeaks Level 2, UESCA Ultrarunning Coach, IRONMAN Coach and Scottish Athletics Leader in Running Fitness.
He works with a range of abilities, from novices to the sport of triathlon/ultra running right through to experienced athletes who are regularly competing at Euro/World AG Championships.
Coaching Philosophy
Training for IRONMAN is a massive commitment but it shouldn’t take over your life. I wouldn’t want any of my athlete’s to feel like they are burdened by the training, it should be fun and exciting, and they should look forward to each session. Using TrainingPeaks to provide personalised training plans that fit in around your life, not rearrange your life around training.
