IRONMAN U coach certifications expire at the end of each calendar year. Coaches are required to pay a $99 recertification fee and complete the designated recertification module(s) as defined each year. Recertification modules will be educational and relevant to triathlon coaching and/or the industry.
Recertification entitles the coach to the recertification content, continued access to any IRONMAN U Coach Certification course materials previously completed by the coach, access to IRONMAN U community forums, and continued use of the IRONMAN U Certified Coach designation and logos. All of these benefits are subject to the related terms and conditions.
Fee: $99 per year USD
The Coach Business Accelerator (CBA) is a 60-Day strategic planning system to help coaches align, assess, design, build, and manage their business. New cohort groups start on a regular rotation (monthly and/or quarterly, depending on need).
The sessions introduce coaches to key business principles, allow for a quick self-assessment that produces a CoachX business score, and jumpstart the strategic planning process. The interactive sessions also address a written business plan, 90 Day SMART goals, a clear action plan with income-producing activities, a scorecard with metrics that matter, and a toolkit of best practices.
After completing the sessions, including key milestones, coaches are invited into Coach Mastermind Groups which are designed to meet coaching need(s) identified during the Coach Business Accelerator program.
Coach Mastermind Groups (CMGs) are small-group sessions of 8 to 12 highly engaged coaches led by a professional facilitator. These sessions are held every two weeks, and are organized based on factors such as geographic region, language, experience level, and size and structure of coaching business.
CMGs allow you to accelerate learning by learning from the experiences and best practices of other coaches. Coaches participating in CMGs develop strong relationships with their group members and support each other as they face challenges with athletes or growing their business. These coaches also enjoy benefits such as ongoing business coaching and priority consideration for other coaching and business building opportunities.
The annual IRONMAN U recertification fee is waived for coaches participating in CMGs.
