IRONMAN U (IMU) is operated by TriDot, a Technical Partner and the "Official Coach Certification Program of IRONMAN.”
This Privacy Notice applies to the Personal Data collected or processed by TriDot when you create an account and participate in IMU. Please refer to TriDot’s Global Privacy Notice for more information on how TriDot protects your privacy and to understand your rights with regards to the Personal Data you entrust to us.
When you sign up for the IMU Coach Certification Program (the Program), participate in the Program and coach athletes you create an account with TriDot which can include sharing the following Personal Data:
- Name, email address, phone number and other contact information.
- Username and password associated with your account.
- Professional, educational, or other qualifications related to your coaching or athletic experience including past IMU Certification status and history, any other certifications, awards, accomplishments, or programs you may participate in.
- A picture of yourself, or other video or images you may choose to share or post.
- Other personal details you may choose to share about yourself when you create your profile, or otherwise disclose in your posts, chats or communications with athletes or in the Coach’s network, including any information you share about your health, a medical condition or other information considered Consumer Health Data, or other Sensitive Data.
- IP address, Internet and other electronic network activity the data we collect through tracking technologies when you access and use IMU and information regarding your interactions with IMU and other TriDot websites, apps or services, such as inquiries to customer care, participation in events and sales and marketing interactions.
- Precise geographic location information about you and your device(s).
- Inferences that may be drawn from the Personal Data you share, including publicly available information such as profiles found on social media websites, public records or derived from other information that we collect, as permitted.
TriDot will process your Personal Data to provide you with access to IMU, its coaching services and Program, as well as for the following purposes:
- To enable your communications and collaboration with other Coaches or Athletes for training purposes.
- To respond to any requests or inquiries to our customer care team.
- To communicate with you, including service communications such as information on technical service issues, security announcements or to inform you of other account related activities.
- To operate the IMU website ensuring the security and integrity of the website and related services and to maintain back-ups ofour databases.
- For data and information that we collect through tracking technologies about your interaction with IMU to analyze the use of the website in order to improve the quality, design and user experience.
- To provide you with marketing communications, or tailor our marketing campaigns with content customized to your interests and preferences.
- To conduct surveys, or polls and/or obtain testimonials.
- To conduct other research regarding IMU and related activities.
Personal Data collected and processed for the IMU Program may be retained by TriDot as outlined in our Global Privacy Notice.
TriDot may disclose your IMU Personal Data to third parties to the extent necessary for the business purposes described above or when we are required to disclose Personal Data according to applicable laws. Please note that we do not rent, lease, sell or exchange Personal Data with other organizations except as authorized by your consent. This includes sharing your Personal Data with IRONMAN, and we will only do so if you have provided your explicit consent. Please refer to the IRONMAN Privacy Notice for more information as to how they may use or otherwise process your Personal Data.
